Sorry for the lack of an update on all of this stuff. I've just been so loaded with knowledge I've been a little bit lax on the journal entries! My bad!

So I'm already on lesson 4 and so far everything is awesome. The studio is great and they've always got stuff to teach me that wasn't in the texts or is studio based knowledge. It's like a never ending pit of expanded knowledge. So far I haven't even been able to hit them with a question we didn't get answered within 5 minutes. It's been more than awesome going in there a couple times a week and getting to learn the hands on stuff.

They've got me doing some work in protools already which is super cool. Adding sound to a movie trailer frame by frame. Difficult but rewarding like crazy. Being able to hear everything through monitors is really nice as well as I've only gotten to play in headphones before. The fun never ends. I love being able to peice each sound to the on screen movie. It's super cool.

My first few weeks have been so awesome I don't know what to do with myself (Aside from all this homework, but can you really call it homework when you're reading the textbook for fun?) Juggling with part time work is hard but so far things are so awesome. Nothing like turning on some tunes and going on a note taking rampage of audio knowledge. I'm just finishing up lesson 4 for tomorrow right now (Cutting it a bit close as it's 2 am here!) But Friday is our decided due date.

I've got nothing but good feelings about how things are going. Updates every thursday from now on!
