YAYYYYYYY!!! PROTOOLS!! FINALLY!! It's time for the beefy stuff!!!
I'm very greatful that I am learning with only the best of the best in the audio world. Knowing that Digidegin has been the industry leader in the audio world makes me super confident learning ProTools as my first DAW. I feel that it will provide me a great foundation to the start of my career.
I can't believe that Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca" was the first No. 1 single to be recorded, edited, and mixed with ProTools. Talk about a flashback to the past! Kinda mkes me feel old... O.o
Files, files, FILES! There are so many files that come with one session, it's almost overwhelming! There are so many details that go into one track. I will definitely be creating an organized system to be able to keep track of them all... I don't want to lose one piece and have either redo or even worse, restart my whole project.
HOLY KEY COMMANDS BATMAN! So many short cuts to make your recording and mixing life easier. I have them all highlighted in a seperate color in my notes to be able to find them quicker while I still learn the ropes of getting around the program. I can't want to get started!
With that, I'm out! I want to keep this momentum going and get more ProTools knowledge underneath my belt so that the studio sessions become more productive instead of me just sitting there, watching my mentor in awe of the program and what the possibilites are.
