After some infatuation, and some diligence I feel rather satisfied on my consumption of the content within the first chapter. I really enjoyed the fundamentals of this program; starting at the physics of sound and the perception of hearing intrigued me to the utmost. I feel as though I took a long time to absorb much of this content and look forward to spending much more time at the studio as I have not made it there as much as I would like to/plan to in the future. However, I do greatly look forward to clarifying many of the questions I have and going over some concepts hands on with my mentor. I look forward to Chapter 2 but I admitenly am kicking myself for second guessing on what I thought to be trick questions; nevertheless, it goes to show I could use some explanation which is nothing to be too ashamed about. Neverthelesss, all of the concepts within this primary section have been awe-inspiring and cleared up a lot of grey area.
I have my first Protools session with my advisor, Sean Evans today; I greatly look forward to the session, especially so having completed this first chapter.
