Upon arrival last week, I was asked to record some basic chords for another student to hear the differences in microphones. This being a dream of mine to be put on the spot like that was pretty surreal to me. I have never been in a legit recording booth (being the musician wise) and I thought it was really cool to be able to do that. 

My mentor and I discussed basic mic set up for studio. An overview of the upcoming chapter which I have just completed. Now that we're getting more into the actual logistics and are gradually approaching ProTools, it's becoming more stressful yet exciting to be able to start real recording and mixing. My walk in role of musician was just a tiny taste of what's next to come and I can't be more excited.
