Major: Music Production
My name is Guerry Magidson Jr from Marietta, GA. I got a Bachelor\'s Degree at the University of Alabama in Health Care Marketing. Also, I earned a certificate for Project Leadership at Cornell. After years of white-collar jobs, I started working with artists/sound engineers then started my own production company/indie label called G Mansion Music. A partner who studied at RC encouraged me to join the school to help me gain more knowlege needed to work at a higher level in the industry. I feel my 6+ years of experience working with numerous artists, engineers, and composers to produce records has put me in the position to become an Executive Producer with a label or production company. I\'ve mainly worked with Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B and Neo-Soul artists but would like to work in all genres. I wear a lot of hats including investing in artists I find, linking artists who vibe with particular engineers and studios, and scheduling/supervising the recording/mixing sessions. My favorite part of the production process is using my gifts to help artists with melodies, writing and choosing/creating beats. Also, I have the creative skills to play instuments, write songs and the ability to sing. I\'ve been blessed with a golden ear and believe I have what it takes to help make music for the masses.
