Today was my favortie lesson to date. MIDI! I made a beat on a Fantom keyboard being sent into Pro Tools. I had way to much fun. There is no better feeling then creating music in the studio, nothing beats it. There isn't a better place to get creative. I finished my beat in a couple of hours, I will have to mix it on my Thursday night intern shift because there was a session coming in that I got to sit in on.

As I have said before I love sitting in on sessions and a beat making session plus a recording session equals best day of class ever by far! Now that I know about the Soul Asylum signal flow it makes these sessions all the more interesting and informative.

All in all I wish today could be like everyday!
