Today was all about prepping for my final. I put in a little extra work on my cookie cutter mix and then did a couple of other mixes.

Later that week I went to Soul Asylum Studios Chamblee which is the other location where all the live recordings with bands are done and went into full detail about mic placement there. It is very interesting working with live instruments as opposed to digital since I'm used to just recording live vocals and Soul Asylum Studios Atlanta. I prefer to do rap, r and b, and pop, as opposed to something live like rock or jazz. It is always a blast to mess around with the drum kit though.
