This chapter was a challenge for me, mainly because before this program, when I would produce music, the only compression I would use was the preset plug in that came with certain software instruments, so this was very new to me. adding compression was very frustrating for me at the start because when listening, its not a night and day difference, which made it hard for me to know I was doing things correctly. My mentor Wyatt gave me many great tips and examples on good methods to compressing tracks. With a lot of patience and time, I got all the tracks on my song compressed and even noticed a slight difference when bypassing all the compessors. I'm very proud of myself for acomplishing this!
