Going into this next chapter i learned alot and about the three different types of microphones we are using today in live sound and recoding. The three types of microphones are dynamic, ribbion and condernser. Also phantom power has an additional 48 voltage for condenser microphones and some ribbon mics also take phantom power. I also got hands on with them which was cool and learning that way is a easier. Patrick and i also talked about stereo miking techniques which are spaced air miking, the x-y configuration, the bluemlein configuration, the ORTF technique, mid-side technique and the decca tree configuration.
