Second day of class Posted on 2016-02-11 by William Assama

Busy day on %TH str stu crew,

Today Nick's had a mix seash with "Someone" 7am-12pm" approximately.. and was was perfectly on time at 1pm for our class, where nick gave me a further understanding of Voltage, tape recording, and more, I fell in love with the 3 different levels, Mic level, instrument level, and line level.. I asked a few questions and my mentor thought it would be better to actually see what he was talking about in the setting of the lovely personal equipment that he attributes to the studio. As one of his bands "Toma", drummer "Jake" was 1st to set up his drum set,  were finishing their album, they came true; with his personal drum set "Its only right, that I bring my set, and let them sit in the building for 2 to 3 hrs to let them settle in the area".. I figured I wasn't the only one in there feeling good about every day. Next were Wille touring "guitarist" he was also extra early he really enjoyed the space with the piano and Very nice falsetto musically correct and classic pop rock feel. Plays piano , drums and guitar. Alden "bassist" French background, very mellow vibe, touring bassist. Has been touring and has NOT had time for studio recording was feel great about the idea of recording songs on the studer tape recorder- Nick calls the Ferrari of tape recorders. The last band member  Waldo "Pianist" Aka Synth lord, I really like all of his utilities that he brought about 4 keyboards, 1 was an super old portable organ (not light.. Not light)... very impressed with ways to adapt to the Omni chord.. cool Fucking solos all of them very Stevie wonder inspired kind of funk.

Lets not forget, James, James the producer, reall cool no shave 2016 kinda guy, very good ear for music lead the music to other heights. He also came very well prepared for studio sesh... had a few guitars... Apparently James is Guitarist for the band, "White denim".. has kinda nice on the guitar himself, very high IQ when it comes to arrangement. The hard working band finished recording the base of the music at 2am and cleaned up and called it a night.

Good day at School, Thanks you TOMA. Thanx James,  Thank you nick for your patience, makes the race car driver look in control at all time.
