4/30/13 Time:9am-11am Studio: Wright way studio Today my mentor Drew Lamond took me through the sample rate,frequency and hint on mastering he opened protools and showed me how there are 16 bits and 24 bits also there are 44.1htz, 48htz and 98htz the CDs we listen to everyday are on 16bits and 44.1htz My mentor explained the concept of 24 bits with 48htz because that is what he's using and dither later during mixing . Also he told me that even though its good to have fresh ear during mastering that is to have a neutral person to master the recording one should understand that you can Eq during mastering stage which most people may think its stupid
