So I learned about connectivity, different types of cables, their functions, patch bays and how they work. I brought in a friend of mine to record her voice singing a song that I wrote and made the music for so that was pretty amazing. I'm still learning the quick keys for protools, but I still remember all of the ones that I was shown so it won't be a huge deal for me next time, especially considering they're all right next to each other. The programs I use don't have the same ability to be speedy to them so this really made me silmutaneously excited and nervous. My instructor and I were in the second studio because the studio we are normally in was taken by someone shooting a video apparently. I didn't recognize who it was, but through a crack in the door while an intern was handing someone candles, I saw that he was singing. That was kind of an exciting little piece of my lesson too.
I'm going to try to be better about doing these blogs, but I keep myself pretty busy.
