Lesson 7

My experience with learning all of this and being in the studio has been nothing short of amazing. Being here fills me with hope and curiosity about where the knowledge I've acquired here will take me. Tomorrow, I'm going to be bringing my friend into the studio to record her vocals on a song I wrote and am rapping on. If everything goes as planned, recording will be finished tomorrow and from there, I can edit and experiment with it in Pro Tools. Up until now, I haven't really had a project of my own to work on in this program, but I have had multiple projects in other programs. It feels good to finally be learning on and using the industry standard. It feels like I have been learning a lot up until now, and now my concern is applying my knowledge to the practicality of the job as I'm getting it done.
