On this last Sunday I had my first class with my mentor Jeremy from Powerhouse studios in Calgary, AB, we went over what the course outline is and how it will all work in the 6 month timeline. We also went over some artist that I relate to and one of those being J.Cole. Coles music has always been a huge inspiration to me, through the real lyrics to the beat, the way he flows everything together is just like an absolute masterpeice and hope to achieve some of these goals within my career. One of my main goals with music production is to be able to create old school type beats with a tasteful hint of the new school. Its time that old school hip hop makes a come back within today society.
