In the studio this week, we worked on a slower acoustic song these two girls wrote. It was a bit more difficult because they recorded it live, making bleed in every track. However, it's interesting to see all the different ways an engineer can go about correcting certain mistakes. We also touched on a lot of internal parts of the software, such as the preferences, and why things must be adjusted according to how much is being processed. Songs that are just acoustic can be a challenge when it comes to editing, because the lack of a lot going on makes the track very delicate. I'm interested to see where this song goes.
