This week in the studio, we worked on a more metal band. We had to do a lot of editing to the drums becuase the drummer seemed to get off tempo a bit in places. After this, I was able to do some EQ on my own. I'm beginning to better understand how this process works, and with more practice, it will come easier. We also touched on inserts and sends, such as when to use what. Lastly, he showed me how to bounce a session to an mp3 because a band wanted a rough mix to practice vocals on.
