The more sample rate you use the more space it takes up... Yes technically it may sound better but to the normal listener there is no difference so it is not worth the space. When importing instrumentals it is best not to use MP3 files because these files are compressed. It is best to use Wav files or "track out"  files to get an overall better mixed with vocals.
