Its interesting how audio processing has evolved from analogue to digital. The natural function of the ear picks up certain frequencies and digital audio processing is designed to fine tune those frequencies in wave forms. Digital audio also makes it easier to transfer audio from one medium to another or share using the internet, blue tooth or any other file sharing mediums.
