Born and raised in the Chicago area with a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology from the University of Oregon. I'm a pianist of 18 years now in classical and jazz, and even began my college career as a piano performance major. Right now, however, production and engineering is my main focus. I've produced my own music in Ableton Live for the last 7 years and I frequently try to collaborate with friends and other artists. Genre-wise, I tend to stick to hip-hop, alternative rock, dance and pop music. Goals for myself in this program are to learn Pro Tools, become more comfortable at the mixing board and with using outboard gear, and to begin developing a brand for myself. For me, the key is to develop as many musical skills as I can to broaden my options and usefulness in the music industry.
