We covered some basic plugins both on/offline that come with Pro Tools. The difference between a send and an insert is that an insert is used to directly effect 100% of the signal on dynamic and frequency based effects. Sends keep the original signal plus send a copy to an designated aux track for modulating or using it for time based effects. In the studio today we did some examples using a couple of the free plugins. After we finished the lesson Ryan had a rapper named AP that came in to track some vocals. I assisted with recording some vocals. I am currently working on the assignment for using a 1k sine way to create a couple measures of a beat.
