In the studio today I watched as a group of engineers were mixing a song for a young kids choir. Going slowly through every part of the song, assigning each instruments or groups of similar instruments onto the console and then tweaking every little part. Looked quite meticulous, patience really is a virtue at this point. Not to mention the number of times they had to listen to the same song over and over again looking for errors. Sometimes it really helps to bring in fresh ears that can pick up on a lot overlooked.
