About Leland
Growing up with both parents involved in music, it was only a matter of time until Leland Kracher would find his own way to join in. Starting with choir in Louisiana, to playing trumpet in band throughout middle and high school, he always found a way to be involved. After high school, he began co-writing an EP with his friend, Coty Austin, an aspiring hip hop artist. Realizing studio time and shows were needed, he assumed the role of manager/producer and formed Driveway Productions; to begin putting on local shows as a platform for not only himself, but all local artists to practice and grow their fan base in an intimate, energetic setting.
After over a year of successful shows, the venue came to a close with a change in ownership of the building. However the foundation to a career in music had been started, and the pursuit continues today with help from The Recording Connection!
