Before the Thursday began, I let Leland know I wouldn't be able to make it to the Wednesday class. Fortunately he had gotten the go ahead to move classes to Thursdays. When I was there two other students, Leland, and I started talking about melody and chord progression. Also some concepts and how to add more color and depth the music using different chords. It was something the two other students only scratched the surface of while Leland was digging with me following behind. It was cool to know each one of their thought processes. One student, Dylon, was eager to show a rap beat he made... it was alright... i wasn't massively but it was cool. It sounded like the newer age hip/hop beat with the "on the grid" drum sequence with some synths going on. I guess basically like a house like song with a hip/hop influence.
