Blog Post Chapter 2! Posted on 2015-02-15 by Chris Hahn

This lesson was very helpful for me to understand how electricity works and how it gets from the power plant to my home. The reading on analog and digital circuits gave me a much better understanding of the difference between the two. In studio I helped set up mics for a great local rock band called Phenomena. They tracked live and over dubbed vocals and some bass. Later into the session we worked on some rough mixes. The next session I went in we worked with an awesome hip hop artist named Dillon. We worked on vocals and over dubs, then our engineer John went on to make some new beats for some new songs. I learned some basics on using midi with protools to create the beats and music with certain plugins and outboard gear like the Lexicon 1300s for some delay on the keys.
