Few days ago, I went back in to the studio and talked to my mentor about all the different ways to get the best studio and sound with different things. We went over the best way to get the best sound out of the setup of a studio design. What the best products are to use to help reduce unwanted nosie. Then he went into detail about how to get the frequencies right within the control room. Showing me the "sweep test" through the speakers and what the purpose was. We spent an hour on that as he was setting up new speakers so I got to see first hand what that all does. It was a great experince to see. He also mentioned the best mic to use for it. Although at this point I can't find the info on it(which I'll include in the next blog). Great 2nd lesson!
