Session Number Twelve - Mix Theory and the start of The Siege project - Posted on 2015-03-23 by Dylan Nowland

Even though it was the used example in the chapter, The Siege, was the song I could hear the most out of all the other choices for the mix theory assignment. With this song I would begin my adventure into mix theory world where I would learn about something such as stereo image, allowing me to draw a picture with the instruments and arrange them as if they were playing in the space you were sitting. Balance would play a huge part in my life afterwards, avoiding headaches and dizziness as well as pleasing the aesthetic ears. This was another great chapter to further organization skills with markers, labels, coloring and grouping tracks.
