I recently completed my first week of apprenticing of the Denver Media Center. Day one went pretty well it was mostly a more indepth tour of the studio. There was also discussion of what kind of things I will need to know in the near future types of cables, the kinds of microphones I'll need to know, where drum gear is kept, ect. Then on day two my first long day at the studio I was mostly kept busy stripping patchbay cables and prepping them to be resoldered. I was also given a breif introduction on how to solder cables. There is more skills involved with being an audio engineer than I had thought but I'm looking forward to the challenge!
