The past two weeks Matt and I have been working on MIDI and Automation. I was already fairly versed in the basics of MIDI since I use it rather frequently for the recordings I do at home. We touched base on the other functions of MIDI and Matt gave me a MIDI assignment to create a track using solely MIDI information. After working on that for a week or so we moved onto automation. Last week Matt and I sat down and covered the different parameters of automation in Pro Tools. He then gave me an assignment specifically on Elastic Audio that I am currently working on.
