I grew up listening to music from a very young age. Music was nothing short of an escape for me. I didn't have a bad childhood by no means but I grew up with divorced parents from the day I was born. My mother and father were both big influances on who I listened too. My mother was into more of the alternative sound. SO from her I grew up listening to Black Crows, Hootie and The Blowfish, Collective Soul, Counting Crows, and Creed. My father on the other hand was into more 60's, 70's and 80's. That is where my love of Pink Floyd, Journey, Chicago, Kansas, Foreigner, and Boston comes into play.

My love for music doesn't stop there though. I was a choir child from Kindergarten all the way to my senior year of high school. I have been a part of the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra Youth Honors Choir for 2 years. I listen to everything from 50's doo-wop to todays top 40. Music is in my blood and it is what keeps me going.

I love attending concerts. Since I was 9 years old I have seen 90+ shows. With being to as many shows, I know that I would love to work live sound. Being in that atmosphere is amazing. there is no other feeling quite like it.
