My biggest take away, aside from a refresher in protons, atoms, and voltage (and learning some new things) was definitely understanding sample rate and bit depth. I like how sample rate can be compared to the frames per second with video because I'd like to get more involved with video too. It was also good to see a visual representation of bit depth and understand what is happening when you select certain options at the beginning of a session to set how you want things to go. I'm looking forward into putting more of what I learned this week into action once I get Logic :)!
Understanding quantization, NQ's theory, and different ways to address noise and if you should even be concerned were also good discussions for this week.
