I have been looking forward to the lesson on Equalization since before day one! I was eager to learn the difference between the professional units and consumer grade stuff. The nice thing is the studio owner has some gear that has been around since his days of live sound, so battle-tested equipment was at the ready. I always had some preconceived notions about certai brands that are ubiquitous in this field, but with fresh perslective and hearing the analog filters at work, I was able to develop more objective ideas. Very fun to work with these sound sculpting devices, that almost work visually.
