What's really amusing sometimes is tweaking the impulse response of a cabinet, arguably the most control any software can give you. I was the most comfortable using these in hardware format, considering this is what I started, years ago, with the onboard controls of my keyboard (that truly introduced me to music making). Mastering this seems to lend more to the math and logic sides of study. All in all, there is nothing like a high quality delay to get the session guitarist or singer ecstatic.
