This week we are recording the band Brand New.  There are many amazing things going on in the studio and alot of great gear.  One of my favorite gear that we have used on this session is a 1954 Martin acoustic that was very amazing and unique.  The mic setup for this acoustic was very interesting as well we used a C12, 121, sm47, and a km184.  All mics were placed pointing at around where the neck meets the body and the sm47 was placed around the knee pointing at the sound hole from the guitar at a angle .  Things are going pretty good, I've started to get more and more involved in stuff that goes around in the studio as time goes by and learning and meeting alot of great creative minds.
