Signal Flow - You Tell It Where To Go

This week Rick switched things up with me. I ran drills for a while to get the hang of how to direct my signals from the compressor MIC to the studio speakers. I never realized how much easier it made things once I started to get the terminology down. It was easier to communicate what I was doing instead of referring to the small fader sends as the "small pushy things". After running a few drills, Rick and some of the more seasoned students showed us a little bit about adding reverb to the track. My next challenge is to navigate through the patch bay. It's only hundreds of cable possibilities that can send your signals to any where on the massive 40 track mixer. Easy enough right?
