this was a lot of inforamtion to take in. i never relized how complicated and different microphones were. ive never thought that there were so many types of mics all with different uses. this week edwin showed me some of teh mics he uses in his studio. he has a 50 years old condenser mic, a bunch of dynamics and some ribbon which he didnt have at the time. he explained the ranges and uses of the mics so well because i was struggle from the diagrams on the reading, im now confident in this arena. also not to mention he let me blend a song together; which was amazing! this first time ive ever used a sound board. he said i had a good ear for music which only boosted my confidence that i can go the distance in this field. more next time...
