Nicholas Mauldin — Houston Recording Connection

Hello friends and welcome to my website.

I'm Nick Mauldin from Houston, Texas. I'm 18 years old and I'm a student of the Recording Connection Audio Institute at Barron Studios. I'm also currently a Sales Associate at Guitar Center North Houston.

I've been playing music for almost eight years and can't imagine my life without it. Not only am I passionate about creating my own music, I'm also very passionate in creating, critiquing and sharing everyone elses music as well. That's exactly why I joined the Recording Connection. I'm here not only to further my education in recording, but also to become an engineer with experience, pride and determination.

I've sat in my room for years recording my own music and wondering, "Why doesn't that sound the way I have it in my head? What piece of the puzzle am I missing?" It's a frustrating experience all artist suffer through. I know many of my friends who gave up recording and playing because they couldn't find that sound or niche.

I don't want that to happen to anyone, anymore. That's why I'm here to help.

Many musicians think that music is a "dog-eat-dog" world, but that mindset is entirely wrong. Sure the music business is an industry where only the strongest survive, but that doesn't mean everyone must turn a blind eye to each other.
