First day in the studio with Mentor Ernie Wells at Eighth Note Productions.  We met from 10am until almost noon.

Discussed basic sound principles with an extended lesson in Pro Tools 9 about Phase and Phase Shifts.  Used a vocal and guitar track as example in and out of phase.  Discussed challeges of live recordings and bleed over from instruments in live and studio situations.

I have a lot to learn about modern technology.  I'm an old dinosaur used to simple 8-track analog recording!!

Also began work on my simple, tiny home project studio.  Ordered new laptop and monitors
