Busy week- 3 Rush concerts throughout Texas and a recording session at Eighth Note Productions of a jazz group.  Great 3 hour seesion with drums, keys, guitar and bass.  Spent time setting mics and running cables.  Recorded 3 tracks in Pro Tools 9.  Still struggling with new fangled technology, but confident in my ears and base knowledge of sound and music principles.  Lesson 2 covered more sound basics and acoustics of studios.  Spent time striking previous night's equipment and making room for vocal tracks to be recorded next day.
