I spent most of this week working to complete the next section of my progressive mixing assignment. I however ran into a few difficulties with trying to improve on the vocals. I also realized that the song’s tempo was not correct and proved quite challenging to narrow down. The first part of the song seemed to match but then about a quarter of the way through it would appear to change pace. My mentor and I got it as close as possible and I then proceeded to continue with compression.
