This week in the studio was an great learning experience. I got to learn more shortcut in protools some that will same me a lot of time. I also learned a lot more about digital audio and how it works it is pretty amazing from how technology has grown over just a few years. I now understand bit rate and sample rate completely now. In the studio I learned how to properly mic drums. I learned the exact distance the mics have to be and were the are placed to get an amazing sound pick up. Then my mentor used trigger in protools to replace the live drum sound its advanced how protools can do that and great knowledge to know how to use that technique. The week was a very technical learning week and I learned a lot of things to help my in my life.
