Week 4 I really got to get deep into the lesson. This was a real hands on experience with connectivity by that I mean I got to see what is behind the patch bay and were it all goes to. In the studio we were taking out some outboard gear and moved some around and there are alot of cords everywhere in the equipment rack. The rack has 2 Neve 1073LB Avalon VT-737sp, SSL XLogic Channel Strip, Manley Elop,Drawmer 1969 , Drawmer Quad Gates, Millennia HV-3C, SSL G Series Stereo Bus Compressor, GML 8200 Parametric Equalizer, Langevin Dual Vocal Combo, 2 API 3124+ , Moog Moogerfooger Analog Delay And a SPL MixDream Analog summing mixer. And the mixdream alone has every piece of gear hooked up to it so its alot of things going on behind the rack.On the next day I got to watch a session the artist was young Tangy. I watched how my mentor John mixed the artist tracks in a very short amount of time. This week was an very hands on week with the lesson.
