This week me and my mentor were going over chapter 5 in the text book with some of the mics used in the studio. He explained to me what each individual mic does and why he uses it in his studio. On the weekend we setup a gig for a masquerade dinner party. There I got a real hands on experinces on how to setup a live performence. I did everything from setting up the mics, speakers, lights, mixing borad and etc. I really love that I'm getting the best of both worlds with not only learnng the ins and outs of a recording stuido and on a live gig.
