Week one in the studio consisted of looking at how the knowledge of frequency, wavelength, and amplitude apply to working in the studio. My mentor, Seva, and I covered this topic while I got the opportunity to watch him master Corrosion of Conformity's new album! While also getting some insight into how Pro Tools works, we went through and made note of where frequency, wavelength, and amplitude come into play. In addition to that, I was also able to listen for clicks and abnormal sounds in the mix, see what decibel they were at, and see how they are masked and/or taken out of the mix. This was an exciting week in the studio, and I cant wait to see what comes next!
