I plugged a turntable into the Pre-amp to record a vinyl into the DAW and put it on a CD. We used a counterweight on the needle to reduce skipping. After recording I exported the record and put it into Sound Forge to boost levels, reduce clicks, pops, and crackle from the vinyl, and chop the tracks up to put on the CD. I used fades and added space to space the tracks apart from one another. Also, normalizing the track helped reduce pops, louder places in the music, and skips. Then I used another program to burn three copies of the disc. Then we tore down the drum set, put away mics, etc. to normalize the sound room.
