On the 20th, singer/songwriter Harry Blanton came to the studio to do play and sing on two original songs. He played a very nice Taylor acoustic/electric and we ran it direct. We used and AT condenser mic for vocals. We used a Kippon drum sequencer as well. Randy controlled the drum machine and I did most of the recording and engineering. since Harry was a repeat artist at the studio we had a template set up from one of his last tracks so it was easy to set up. Today on the 24th I'm not sure what we'll do. Randy needs to record bass and drums on a couple of tunes for his jazz band so hopefully that is what we'll do. It should be fun. I'm looking forward to it.
