On Thursday August 22nd, Chris Daughtry played host to a few influential radio programmers at the Palms Studio to play some new music from his upcoming album in the control room. It was quite an experience as he ran the control board to make it happen. He played two fully mixed (un-mastered) singles which are what they (RCA) are planning to release to radio first, then several un-mixed versions of other tracks. He went through the process of creating the new songs and explained that it was a truly organic experience for him becuase he knew the music cycle was changing and things needed to be different. The proccess of writing the new songs did not even include regular members of the band Daughtry, so they won't be on the album. They will tour and play the new tunes, they just won't be on the album.
