The weekend of Spetember 13th, I flew to San Diego where the band Switchfoot is from for a Big Beach party. We all headed to Carlsbad on Saturday where the band proceeded to treat Radio Programmers to surf lessons (no I did not get in the water!) :). They then played a few tracks from the new album and did a live acoustic set for us.  The record is very different from their previous Christian Rock style. It use to be that they were the Rock ballance for Alternative stations, where as now, the style of the First Single "Who We are" is the norm. It's a pop alternative record that fits in with what is mass appeal in the music cycle right now. Very cool experience that no one will forget.
