I felt comfortable with learning about Pro Tools and how one interface could be used to make great albums, but I was starting to wonder how professional studios were able to use multiple interfaces simultanously. The answer is simple, and I feel ignorant for not knowing: plugins. How are built in effect and processors used? Plugins. They make editing tracks very easy and the ability to edit a track without completely re-recording a track has become a true money and time savor for musicians. My mentor showed me a few different ways he uses his plugins as either direct to software boxes or stackable channel boxes for multiple player recording. I look very forward to build upon my interfaces and experiementing with plugins.
