Equalization for me was a great follow up to Chapter 12: It helped me turn the concets into practicality for recording. For example, learning how to use compression and low pass filter allows frequencies under a predetermined center frequency to be unaffected by compression. My mentor was really knowledged in this concept of applicable equalization. In use, it allows a track to be leveld out better and causes a recording session to be fuller.
