This chapter was on time based effects, like delay. We don't use delay as often as other mix techniques in the studio. Delay is mostly used in more 'processed' music. It's also a really prominent tool in electronic music so that was of interest to me. 

For studio time I helped track drums for one of Tim's own music projects. The songs are coming along really well, but one of his tracks used a really cheesy synth pad. The effect it gives is necessary but the voicing is distractingly bad. I would like to use my own expertice in electronic music to make a better pad effect.
